Friday, July 28, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has formally submitted a letter of resignation.
Previously, the Supreme court in the country decided to dismiss Sharif from office in connection with suspected fraud and money laundering.
According to «the Panama papers,» published a year ago, the family of the Prime Minister owned assets abroad, he said.
The court ruling said that Sharif «not fit to be a member of Parliament and should resign as head of government.» Since 1990, Sharif was four times appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan.
From the post was removed as the Minister of Finance of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
