Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, who is on an official visit to Israel, Monday, may 15, visited the wailing Wall in Jerusalem.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Prime Minister left between the stones of the wailing Wall a note that asked for «calm and peace for Ukraine and the well-being and prosperity to the Ukrainian people, and also thanked God for the support of Ukraine in times of trial», TV channel «112 Ukraine».
As previously reported, during the visit, Groisman met with the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin and the speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein, and visited the memorial complex «Yad Vashem».
Visit of Volodymyr Groysman in Israel was planned for 27-28 December 2016. But after Ukraine supported the anti-Israeli resolution in the UN security Council, the visit was postponed indefinitely. Israeli media reported that the visit Groisman was cancelled at the request of Netanyahu.
