Rawinski the court in Haifa that heard the divorce case, accepted the arguments of the wife that the husband was sitting home, not working and not helping around the house, and left her all financial and social rights, acquired in the marriage.
The couple got divorced after 30 years of marriage. After a divorce, the husband demanded to get half of the social and financial rights of the wife, including pension and other savings.
During the proceedings it became clear that while the wife worked full time, took extra work, and kept the house and raised the children, the husband worked odd jobs here and there, most of the time spent in unemployment, and thus do not engage in any house, no children.
The judges ruled that «lazy husband who did not perform any of the functions of the family» may not rely on any rights, according to the newspaper «Maariv».
