Late in the evening, August 3, in Jaffa renewed unrest. Residents of the Arab neighborhoods of the city outside of Japhet harness car tyres, overturned and set fire to garbage cans, throwing stones at police, break Windows in shops and small stores.

New riots were a response to the arrest of the brother of a resident of Jaffa, who was shot by police last Friday. Video of his arrest was posted by eyewitnesses in social networks, which further escalate the situation in the city.

Later the information appeared that among the detainees – the leader of the Northern wing of the «Islamic movement» in Jaffa, Sheikh Muhammad Ayash, who is suspected of organizing riots.
Law enforcement officials shall consult with the elders of the Arab community of Jaffa on how to restore order and bring peace to the city.
About the arrest of another resident of Jaffa, it became known at 20:00. The press service of law enforcement agencies reported that the police placed in the street Japhet in Jaffa to maintain order, was attacked by a group of local residents. The instigator of the riots was the brother of the deceased as a result of the actions of the police men.
Last Friday, the Mahdi Alizade on his motorcycle tried to escape when police from the place, where before it sounded shots. Relatives of the Mahdi claimed that he didn’t want to get caught law enforcement officers, because he did not have a motorcycle license.
