Federal air transport Agency of Russia announced that Russia and Israel agreed to perform Charter and regular flights to tel Aviv from the airport Zhukovsky. On the Agency’s website posted the relevant contract.
The report said that the issue was settled by the parties as a result of correspondence.
That the authorities of Russia and Israel have agreed on the question of the use of the Russian airlines of the airport «Zhukovsky» for flights to Israel in March, said transport Minister Maxim Sokolov.
Flights in the summer season will be operated by the airline «Ural airlines» and «Icarus».
Earlier, Israel agreed to use the «Zhukovsky» for Charter flights, however, did not agree to its use in the regular schedule, because it would exceed the quota for the number of flights between Moscow and tel Aviv in the framework of a bilateral agreement on air transport.
International airport «Zhukovsky» is located in the city of Zhukovsky, 36 km from the centre of Moscow. The airport can be reached by two buses from the metro Kotelniki, or from underground Vyhino, on the train from the Kazan railway station. From the platform go to the airport «shuttles».
