Legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr. has denied the information about retirement, appeared yesterday in the Russian media.
He said he has not yet made a decision about retirement, according to Boxing Scene. The athlete stressed that only he can tell about his future.
We will remind, yesterday, the media circulated a statement by Dmitry Luchnikova, Director of sports promotion company «the Patriot», which stated that Roy Jones will no longer participate in Boxing matches.
Last year the legendary boxer has received Russian citizenship and had one fight under the Russian flag. Enzo Maccarinelli knocked him out in the fourth round.
Roy Jones was named fighter of the decade 1990-ies. He was an absolute world champion in heavy weight, triple-headed a rating of the best boxers in the world regardless of weight category (1996, 1999 and 2003).
