The Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, December 28, amended a decree on application of special economic measures against Turkey involving prohibiting or restricting the activities of organizations controlled by Turkish nationals.
Still restricted to organizations under the jurisdiction of Turkey, said the Agency «Interfax».
Companies that are not technically Turkish, but control of their citizens of Turkey, in Russia there are hundreds, particularly in tourism, construction and trade, writes Vesti.ru.
The President signed a Decree «On amendments to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation from November 28, 2015 № 583 «On measures for safeguarding national security of the Russian Federation and protecting Russian citizens from criminal and other unlawful acts and on application of special economic measures against the Turkish Republic», reported on the official Kremlin website.
The same decree, which entered into force after its official publication, Putin instructed to determine the list of contracts for the supply of goods and works, concluded with the Turkish organizations that restrictive measures do not apply.
Earlier, Russia took a number of special economic measures against Turkey, including from 1 January 2016, Russian employers are prohibited to recruit Turkish citizens. At the same time, the government has included 53 companies and organizations in the list of employers and customers of works in which this prohibition does not apply.
