Former Minister Gideon Saar addressed the Conference of presidents of Jewish organizations in new York. Referring in his speech to the situation in the negotiations with the Palestinian authority, Gideon Saar said: «it Will be a big mistake to return to the idea of creating a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria as a so-called solution to the conflict».
Saar: «the Creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank would entail the influx of Palestinian and Syrian refugees, as well as radical Islamists, who will gather from around the world right in front of us to wage war against the Jewish state, and Israel will not be able to control the situation,» he added.
«The creation of a Palestinian state will not solve the so-called demographic problem, but will create it,» said Gideon Saar.
Saar also urged the United States to maintain the independence of the Kurds against the background of the referendum, which will be held next September in Kurdistan region of Iraq.
