The aircraft of the international coalition headed by the USA on Saturday, August 5, launched a series of air strikes on the city of raqqa in Northern Syria, according to Syrian state Agency SANA.
As reported by the Agency to local sources, the bombing killed at least 43 people and caused considerable material damage.
All the victims were civilians, says SANA.
Earlier in the day, SANA, citing the Deputy head of the local branch of the «red Crescent» Dina al-Asaad said that last Thursday, the international coalition led by the US launched an airstrike phosphorus bombs on the hospital in raqqa. The report reveals that it was dropped more than 20 such bombs-the goal of air strikes were power generators, ambulances and offices inside the hospital. On the dead or wounded was not reported. It is emphasized that in hospital there were no militants of the «Islamic state».
Note that the U.S. defense Department this information has not commented. International agencies and independent monitoring groups, the fact of the coalition air strikes with the use of phosphorous bombs on the hospital in raqqa is not confirmed.
