Saudi Arabia joined the States urging the us administration to abandon the intention to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel or move to this city located in the tel Aviv Embassy.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the U.S. Prince Khalid bin Salman said the Kingdom still adheres to the Arab initiative of 2002, providing for the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem.
