The Minister of foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Adil al-Jubayr said during a visit to France that the Kingdom will keep their French weapons intended for Lebanon.
The deal to supply Lebanon army large consignment of French weapons was signed in September 2014.
The order included armoured vehicles, rocket systems, artillery and ammunition, and possibly helicopters and one ship with a total cost of $ 3 billion.
The weapons were to be delivered to Lebanon within a few years, from 2016 to 2022 or 2023, although some deliveries took place in spring 2015. To pay the contract was Saudi Arabia.
