«The Histadrut», the administration group «Tnuva» and the working Committee of the slaughterhouse «Tnuva» in Beit Shean («Adom Adom») signed a collective agreement covering approximately 80 employees of a slaughterhouse adhering to the «Histadrut» about two years ago.
The company «Adom Adom», located in the industrial zone near Beit Shean, «Tnuva» produces frozen and fresh beef products supplied to the retail chains and butcher shops across the country.
The agreement will be valid for five years. It regulates the conditions of employment at the company, securing the rights of workers and equating most of them to the conditions of employees of the group «Tnuva».
Among other things, the agreement sets forth provisions concerning the nature of the recruitment, probation and seniority for obtaining permanent status («quiote»). In addition, the agreed terms of wages and additional payments such as overtime beyond the statutory by law, payment for readiness status, allowance for work «under cold conditions», for an emergency call, the surcharge for the record, the dimensions of the holiday gifts, vacation pay, annual collective day of rest, etc.
