Monday, January 1, police arrested six workers of the nursing homes in the Central district on suspicion of violence against the wards.
There are two nursing homes located in Petah Tikva and Rehovot. During the undercover investigation was collected evidence of the use of force against the elderly, some of which are older than 90 years.
The detainees are suspected of having pulled the wards by the hair and force dragged them to move from a wheelchair to the bed, threw them in the face and head towels, pillows and diapers and even beat.
During the detention the suspects were raided in nursing homes.
