Thursday, March 1, the Prosecutor’s office of the tel Aviv district will present the six suspects of the charges in the import to Israel of women from former Soviet countries to provide sexual services for money.
They are accused of involvement in the Commission of crimes such as criminal conspiracy, inducing person to leave their country for prostitution or slavery, the importation of a person for prostitution aggravated pimping, the publication of announcements on the provision of sexual services, the creation of obstacles to investigation, fraud and money laundering.
The suspects were arrested on 5 February. We are talking about a network that was imported to Israel of women from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and other countries. As noted in the press service of the police, the suspects used the personal and economic problems of these women and forced them by threats to provide sexual services to clients.
It is emphasized that women were attracted to prostitution without their knowledge and against their will. The victims were kept in harsh conditions. They were subjected to threats and violence.
