On Thursday, 24 December, was published information that in the hospital «Soroka» in beer Sheva and the Jerusalem hospitals are six women with symptoms of swine flu.
The condition of four patients is estimated as heavy, and they are connected to the apparatus artificial respiration. Three patients were pregnant at the time of admission, and one required emergency caesarean section. A newborn’s condition is stable.
At the moment the suspicion is verified according to which a woman who is in the medical center «Sheba» (tel-Hashomer) is also sick with swine flu.
The Ministry of health warned of an outbreak of the H1N1 strain and appeals to citizens to undergo vaccination. It is reported that none of the cases the woman was not vaccinated.
