The Ministry of education of the Islamic Republic of Iran decided to close for two days educational institutions in Tehran. The reason for this was a dense smog has shrouded the Iranian capital.

Tehran, with a population of about 14 million people, is located in a poorly flushed a mountain hollow at an altitude of over kilometers. About 80% of the pollution are exhaust fumes of millions of the capital’s cars.
