Spanish police conducted this weekend a special operation during which they arrested seven members of an Islamist cell linked to terrorist groups «Islamic state» and «Dzhabhat EN-Nusra».
The arrests were conducted in the provinces of Valencia, Alicante, and the enclave of Ceuta, located on the Northern coast of Morocco, said on Sunday, February 7, news Agency AP.
The interior Minister of Spain Jorge Fernandez Diaz confirmed that this cell was well organized and under the guise of humanitarian aid supplied arms, explosives and electronic equipment of militants in Syria and Iraq. In addition, its members are suspected of money laundering for IG, as well as the supply of women for sexual pleasures jihadists.
