Tuesday, January 30, in the memorial complex «Yad Vashem» in Jerusalem, the ceremony of awarding the title of righteous among the Nations by the late spouses Jan will Jagose and Perini Sabina, and their son Alexander from Poland. Honorary diploma and medal for them was their daughter, Alicia of Mularski.
The ceremony was held with the participation of the Deputy Ambassador of Poland in Israel Piotr Kozlowski, Holocaust survivors and members of the Commission on awarding the title of righteous among the Nations.
During the Second world war, the family Jagos lived in Modliborzyce, in the district of Lublin. Because Yang was seriously ill, Sabine suggested William (Pelaku) Toitman, the Jewish friend of their son, to work with them on the farm. When did the persecution of the Jews, they hid Toitman in the attic.
The family also hid albert Spivak, a soldier of the Polish army, escaped twice from German camps. Spivak and Titman hiding the family Jagos until he decided to join the partisans.
After the war, Titman and Spivak emigrated from Poland. Toitman, liaised with family Dziadosz and even met them in 1975.
