On the morning of Tuesday, December 22, with an official two-day visit to Israel there has arrived the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reports the press service of the Ukrainian President. On the trip he is accompanied by his wife Maryna Poroshenko.
During the visit, Poroshenko is scheduled to meet with President of Israel Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein, opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog and Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilos III.
Wife Poroshenko will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the memorial complex «Yad Vashem», and a memorial at mount Herzl.
The police in the Knesset, as well as the signing of several bilateral agreements.
In addition, Poroshenko will meet with representatives of business circles of Israel, originally from Ukraine and volunteers.

Benjamin Netanyahu has not been in Kiev since March 1999.
