On the morning of Thursday, June 22, in the magistrate’s court in Rishon LeZion was taken five men suspected of involvement in the murder of 43-year-old Roman Anton from Rishon LeZion. The police asked to extend their period of detention.

Roman Anton, who was under police surveillance, was killed the evening of 15 June, about the industrial area of Rehovot. He was involved in several criminal cases. The body was found on the side of highway 411, close to the industrial area of Rehovot. The examination found that the man was released a few dozen bullets. Some wounds were fatal.
On the morning of 16 June, the Israeli police announced the arrest of five people on suspicion of involvement in the murder. Then, it was reported that the suspects – three residents of Rehovot, 16, 28 and 35 years old, a resident of Ofakim 30 years and resident of Ashkelon 36 years.
