Saturday, 30 September, in Gothenburg, Sweden held a March of right-wing national socialist movement «and the resistance». By the beginning of March in the centre of the city gathered hundreds of its members, according to Reuters.
Membership in neo-Nazi organizations in Sweden are not prohibited by law, and the organizers received permission to carry it out. However, to prevent the March tried several groups of anti-fascists. As a result, the police arrested more than 30 people, belonging, apparently, to both warring parties.
One police officer received minor injuries. The Gothenburg police have requested reinforcements to colleagues from neighboring districts.
More than two weeks before the March, the Jewish community of Gothenburg has stated its concern that a neo-Nazi rally scheduled for September 30, the day of judgment (Yom Kippur). «The Northern resistance» made no secret of his intention to March past the main synagogue of the city.
