Petrograd district court of St. Petersburg sentenced a Syrian refugee to a fine in the amount of 18.5 million rubles and conditional term for a bribe, with which he had intended to get to Europe. On Thursday, October 22, reported the press service of city Prosecutor’s office.
The Syrian national Ali Farzad lived in St. Petersburg since 2010 on the basis of the certificate on granting temporary asylum on the territory of Russia. «In order to cross the state border of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland he invited a member of the detachment of border control «St.-Petersburg» the border Department of the FSB of Russia across St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region for a cash consideration of illegal to move it and two citizens of Syria across the border» – quoted by TASS message.
