Four years after the outbreak of the civil war in Syria, the Saudi authorities decided to grant the right to work, to Syrian citizens trapped in the Kingdom on a tourist visa.
The regulation applies to nationals of Yemen, had settled their status. They will also receive access to the health care system, and will be able to send their children to educational institutions of Saudi Arabia.
Procedural issues entrusted to an interministerial Commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of labor, Ministry of interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As expected, the Syrians will get the same status as the Palestinians living in Saudi Arabia.
