The Israeli company «TAHAL» won the tender of world Bank and Ministry of construction of Russia on the reconstruction of the biological processing of wastewater in the city of Ivanovo.
The project cost 126 million shekels. Work on the project will start immediately and will last for two years. At the completion of the complex will process up to 320 thousand cubic meters of wastewater per day.
The complex itself was built in the 1970-ies and is obsolete. This is the second project «TAHAL» in this complex, in 2015, the company planned and built a line of anaerobic disposal of waste dirt and elaboration on its basis of power to ensure the operation of the complex.
In parallel, the company is implementing two other projects in Russia – construction of wastewater treatment plants in Yakutsk with funding from the European Bank for reconstruction and development and the construction of wastewater treatment plants in Orenburg with funding from the world Bank.
The company is also working on upgrading the sewer system of the city of Poti in Georgia
