The white house will appoint a special Ambassador, whose responsibility is charged with monitoring global anti-Semitism, the fight against its manifestation and advising other countries in this region, announced late last week state Department spokesman mark Toner.
This post has been vacant since the inauguration of Donald trump in January this year, reminiscent of the Jewish news Agency JTA.
Last Friday, Toner said that the United States will continue working to protect religious freedom, and said that currently the selection of candidates for the position. The exact date of the appointment of the elect to this post yet nor known.

In the course of this study revealed that among American Muslims, the number of anti-Semites is much more than the national average – 34% adherents of Islam have a dislike of the Jews. However, it is much less than in Europe, the middle East and North Africa, where such feelings are common 55% and 75% of citizens respectively.
