On Wednesday, 2 December, prosecutors announced the completion of the investigation into the 36-year-old Raed al-Masala, committed on November 19 terrorist attack in the building Panorama in tel Aviv, which killed two people.
During the investigation, the terrorist confessed to his alleged actions and, according to Israeli SMII, expressed remorse. «I wanted to die and become a Martyr, but it failed, and I apologize for their actions», — quotes the press the words of al-Masala, it is mentioned on the result.
Recall that Raed al-Masala — resident of the village of Dura near Hebron, a father of five children, who received permission to be on Israeli territory. On November 19, he came to the building «Panorama», entered the store and stabbed two people. Then walked down one floor and attacked several people, after which it was neutralized by the citizens.
According to eyewitnesses, the terrorist tried to get into the shop, which also has a small room of the synagogue, where at the time there were about 20 people, but I couldn’t open the door because there were people barricaded the entrance. The assailant sustained minor injury.
On 2 December the court extended the term of custody for a week, after which he will be indicted.
Representatives of the police and General security service (SHABAK) asked the court to remove the ban on publication of details of the case.
