London police arrested Monday a 20-year-old boy suspected of involvement in the terrorist attack on the London underground, injuring 30 people. This arrest produced in Cardiff, Wales, became the seventh. The suspect was handed over for questioning one of the police stations of London.
Investigators searched the suspect’s flat in Cardiff, writes 25 September, leading British newspaper the Guardian.
The article notes that three of the previously detained to date released three men of 25, 30 and 48 years – are in custody.
One of the suspects, 18-year-old Ahmad Hassan from the city Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, appeared on September 22 before the court: it is charged with the organization of the explosion and attempted murder.
Police arrested Hassan on 16 September in the port of Dover. According to Sky News, the detainee is a refugee, an orphan from Iraq, who arrived in the United Kingdom at the age of 15 years.
The police raided the house in Sunbury-on-Thames, where he lived the suspect. The house belongs to an elderly spouse Penelope and Ronald Jones, who took on the education of hundreds of children, including refugees.
On suspicion of involvement in the attack was also arrested 21-year-old Yaya Farrukh, who lived in the London suburb of STANWELL (Surrey). Later, the police arrested in Wales for another three suspects.
