The Jordanian government has finalized the plan for the New city of Amman, which will become the capital of the Kingdom. It will be located near the present capital of Amman.
«Found the solution to the most urgent problems of the capital. They can be tackled by setting up a new city. Next year will be launched, which will be comprehensive,» said Prime Minister Hany Mulk.
He stressed that the two cities will not be in contact, but declined to provide more accurate information. The construction of a New Amman, which will move government buildings will be conducted in five stages.
The Prime Minister also announced the construction of new toll roads: the ring road around Amman, Irbid, Amman and the Dead sea-Aqaba. He said that each of them has a free alternative.
