Six people, including three children, were injured as a result of a collision of a car that crashed into a crowd of people celebrating Eid al-Fitr – the feast of the end of the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan.
The incident in question occurred at 09:014 GMT in the sports centre, Westgate, located in the British city of Newcastle, Northumberland in the North East of the United Kingdom, writes 25 June, the news service of the BBC.
The condition of one of the victims is estimated by physicians as critical. The constabulary has already said that he does not consider the incident a terrorist attack.
