Thursday, February 15, the appeals court dealing with migration and entry to Israel, decided to grant the request for asylum filed by a native of Eritrea who evaded military service in his homeland. This is reported to the Tenth channel ITV and the website ynet.
The court overturned the decision of the Directorate of population and migration on the matter.
The verdict said that there is a reasonable apprehension that the asylum seeker will be subjected to political persecution by the authorities in his country in connection with evading military service.
