The Israeli working model of the car «first aid» intended for rescue of people during natural disasters, took first place in its category at the international competition in the United States.
The competition was organized by the American society of agricultural and biological engineering (ASABE) and was held in early June in Peoria (Illinois). The competition was attended by representatives of 35 universities from different countries of the world.
First place winner of the Israeli development is a vehicle of the increased passability, equipped with its own device to clean and potable water and green power generator – environmentally friendly system to produce electricity.
The model is designed and manufactured by a group of students of faculty of engineering Ariel University under the guidance of the teacher Nahum Orlev.
