The European court of justice, the highest court of the European Union should adopt on July 26, the final decision on the issue of exclusion of Palestinian group Hamas from list of terrorist organizations.
In 2014, the lowest rung of the court took the decision to expel the group from the list on the basis that the decision on the recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization was made on the basis of publications in the media, not their own thorough investigation of the EU.
Hamas accepted the decision of the court of the EU as a major foreign policy success. At the same time, representatives of the European Union granted the three-month period challenged the verdict in court.
