Thursday, June 15, at the residence of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin hosted the presentation of credentials ambassadors of four countries.
Job Daudi masima became the first Ambassador of Tanzania in Israel. He arrived in Israel with his wife and children with the purpose of the Embassy, the opening of which was announced in the summer of 2016 during his visit to Africa, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
Upon presentation of credentials masima, Muslim by religion, suddenly took out a yarmulke and read the Hebrew blessing «Shehechianu»: «Blessed be the Lord, who gave us life and supported her in us, and gave us to live to this time.»
After prayer, the new Ambassador assured Rivlin that the government and people of Tanzania in solidarity with Israel.
Also on Thursday, his credentials were handed to the Ambassador of Brazil Meir de Vasconcelos, and the Ambassador of Nepal Nirajan Kumar Thapa, the President rebuked for anti-Israel vote in their countries in UNESCO and the Ambassador of Honduras, Mario Edgardo Castillo Mendoza.
