Tuesday, July 11, at the Ministry of foreign Affairs will host a ceremony of signing the Protocol on realization of the agreement between Russia and Israel on the payment of pensions.
The signing of the Protocol will allow tens of thousands of Israelis-natives of Russia to pension benefits for years of work in Russia.
The ceremony will be attended by the Minister of labour and social protection RF Maxim Topilin, his Israeli counterpart Haim Katz, and Minister of aliyah and immigrant absorption Sofa Landwehr, environment Minister for Jerusalem Affairs Zeev Elkin.
That tomorrow will be signed the final agreement on pensions from Russia, mentioned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the faction meeting of Likud. «I have discussed this issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He promised to complete the process, and tomorrow it will be completed with the help of Ministers Zeev Elkin and Chaim Katz. I want to thank them for their support. Through this agreement, thousands of Israelis will begin to receive a pension for work experience in Russia. Thus will be a «closed circle», — said the head of government.
We will remind, on conclusion of the agreement between Russia and Israel on the payment of pensions, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in December 2016. However, the Ministry of labour of Russia and the Ministry of social services of Israel could not agree on the place and time of the signing of the administrative agreement, after signing which the parties should exchange instruments of ratification.
The Russian Embassy in Israel said that the Treaty will enter into force on the first day of the third month following the date of exchange of instruments of ratification.
