Monday, October 30, the President of France Emmanuel macron has signed a law on combating terrorism, which will take effect with the end of emergency rule.
The state of emergency worked in France for almost two years. It was introduced after the terrorist attacks 13 November 2015, which claimed the lives of 130 people.
The law will come into effect on Wednesday, 1 November.
The new law provides for increased administrative authorities, simplifying the procedure of issuing the instructions on carrying out a search, allows the temporary closure of religious institutions and to carry out verification of documents in the border areas.
The interior Minister of France Gerard Collon said that before the end of the emergency rule was necessary to take measures to ensure the safety of citizens.
