Sunday, August 13, the government approved the new rules in case of emergency, which will allow to impose a ban on striking for employees of the Nuclear research center in Dimona.
For three months the workers of the center are on strike, seeking the conclusion of a collective agreement, which provides for substantial wage increases.
In the office of the head of government announced that the rules will be in effect for three months in respect of 50 employees. They are necessary in order to avoid serious harm to the vital interests of the state.
The Chairman of the atomic energy Commission Zeev Snir, at the request of which new rules were adopted, said at the government session that the negotiations with the workers has not yet yielded results.
