The Israeli Council for higher education decided to reduce the size of payments received by universities for each student of the faculty of law and management 18 thousand shekels to 15 thousand shekels.
The decision was made in connection with the surplus of professionals in these areas in the Israeli market.
At the same time, a payment received by universities for each student in the areas related to high technology, will be increased from 38 thousand shekels to 45 thousand shekels a year.
The decision will come into force in all universities except the Open University in the coming academic year and will be extended to state-subsidized colleges, «kalkalist».
This change will not affect the tuition fees.
