Sunday, December 5, the legislative Commission of the government will consider the bill on compulsory pension insurance for individual entrepreneurs.
The bill was prepared by the organization of individual entrepreneurs and small business owners LAHAV and raised for consideration the governments of the member Eli Cohen («Kulan»).
We will remind that till now the law on compulsory pension insurance extends only to employees.
Under the bill, an individual entrepreneur will be obliged to make pension contributions on their income starting from the third year of business.
Mandatory deductions will be made only with income above NIS 4,500 and below 9.500 shekels a month. Depending on your income, pension contributions will range from 2% to 10% of gross income in a month.
