The Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed his condolences to Russia in connection with the death of the pilot of the Russian su-24 bomber, shot down Turkish air force.
«We Express our sorrow and condolences (Russia) in connection with the death of the Russian pilot» – leads TASS words Cavusoglu said after meeting in Belgrade with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
As previously reported, on Thursday, 3 December, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov met with chief of Turkish diplomacy, Mevlut Cavusoglu: a 40-minute conversation took place in Belgrade on the request of Ankara.
The parties discussed Russian-Turkish relations are greatly complicated after the destruction of the Turkish F-16 Russian su-24 in Syria. Cavusoglu was asked not to link the incident with «total fight».
