The owner of the premises, which houses Federal headquarters founded by Mikhail Khodorkovsky movement «Open Russia», demanded to leave it for three days.
«The owner came today with paper on which is written the requirement to leave the room until 18:00 on March 16″, – said the Agency «Interfax» on Tuesday, March 13, Chairman of the «Open Russia» Alexander Soloviev.
«We won’t sue the owner, even though under the contract it (the claim for eviction within three days – ed.) is impossible, must be paid the penalty and so on. Obviously, they’re scared, obviously, they are threatened by something, he said that there will be problems. Although the owners know that we are not involved in illegal activities,» – said Solovyov.
We are talking about premises in the building of the Higher school of Economics Myasnitskaya street in Moscow, located in a sector that is privately owned.
According to the Chairman of the «Open Russia», now the movement is looking for new premises. «Temporary no options, may have to work from home,» he added.
