Thursday, March 8, the Supreme court of justice (the court) issued a ruling temporarily prohibiting the return to Gaza of the body of the Palestinian Arab, who was killed during clashes with IDF soldiers.
This decision of the high court made in connection with a lawsuit filed by the family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, who was killed during operation protective edge in Gaza, and whose body is held by the terrorist organization Hamas.
Supreme court justice Neal Hendel was forbidden to return to Gaza the body of Ismail Abu Rial, who was shot and killed by soldiers of the Navy during the incident off the Gaza coast. Fishing boat, on Board of which was Abu Rial, left the area permitted for fishing. Soldiers several times signaled the boat, requiring it to return to the permitted area. After the crew of the boat did not obey, the soldiers opened fire. The body of a dead Arab in Israel, and the family Goldin has demanded to return it to Gaza as long as there has been no progress in the process of the return of the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul.
