Near the town of Sinjar in Northwest Iraq controlled after the withdrawal of Kurdish forces, Shiite militias, discovered mass graves of Yazidis killed by militants of the «Islamic state».
According to the Russian news Agency RIA Novosti, citing the website of the Shiite militia, found two graves in which were buried about 140 people.
In the first grave South of Sinjar, Shiite militias have discovered the remains of about 80 people, mostly Yazidis. In the village of Kabuzi, also South of the city, the militia found a second grave with the remains of 20 women and a dozen children of Yezidi origin.
It is expected that the examination will be carried out, which will help to establish the identity of the victims.
