On the morning of Monday, March 5, at Rabin square in tel Aviv was installed installation depicting the Israeli flag ready to fall. Its author is the sculptor Itai Suliat, last set at the same place a gilded statue of the head of government Benjamin Netanyahu.
The tenth channel ITV leads the reaction of the Minister of culture and sports Miri Regev on the appearance of this installation. «Flag ready to fall in only a certain radical section of society that is not ready to accept the decision of the voter. This is a cheap and outrageous political provocation of left-wing misfits, to which the power of the right-wing is mourning,» said Regev.
Recall that a gilded statue Netanyahu was set to 6 December 2016. The author of the sculpture issued a statement in which he explained that the purpose of the campaign is «testing the boundaries of freedom of speech in Israel in 2016».
