The press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Israel commented on the statement of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, concerning Jerusalem and al-Aqsa mosque.
The Israeli foreign Ministry called the speech of Erdogan before the Turkish Parliament is absurd and wrong. «It would be better for him if he was having problems of their own country,» — said in a statement the foreign Ministry.
The Israeli foreign Ministry also recalled that the Ottoman Empire passed. Jerusalem was, is and will remain the capital of the Jewish people.
In a statement released by the press service of the foreign Ministry, also contains a warning to the Turkish leader: «those who live in glass Palace should not throw stones».
Earlier, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his speech to Parliament called on all Muslims to visit temple mount and defend the al-Aqsa as well as Mecca and Medina.
«I want to appeal to its citizens and all Muslims. Let everyone who can, will visit Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa. Who can’t come, let help our brothers there,» said the Turkish leader, and added that the reason for the problems of Muslims on the Temple mount, was the interference of the Arab world.
