Chief economist of the Ministry of Finance published a report on Israeli residential real estate market for the third quarter of 2017.
According to the report, during the period from July to September in different parts of the country was sold 23.7 thousand apartments, which is 17% less than in the same period last year, and 1.3% less than in the previous quarter.
Excluding transactions concluded in the framework of «the new settler» («Policy Le-Mistaken»), the decline in sales compared to the third quarter of 2016 it will reach 21%.
Thus, the reduction in the number of transactions in the housing market continues for four consecutive quarters. A similar situation was observed with the 2011-2012 school year, when they passed the mass actions of social protest.
