Activists of the nongovernmental organization IsraAID opened in Nepal, a school of beekeeping, to help the local people to establish their own business and not depend on humanitarian assistance.
According to the site CoolIsrael.co.il, at school, working near Shatura, trained more than 60 women. Each of the students received the gift of a hive of black bees.
From September 2015 to late January 2016, the Israelis provided 64 students with protective suits and masks needed for the job.
The programme HoneyAID the Israelis will help the graduates of their school to open stores to market their products to locals and tourists.
