The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday evening, July 15, held a telephone conversation with king Abdullah II of Jordan.
According to the press service of the Royal house of Jordan, during the conversation, Abdullah II condemned the attack on the Temple mount in Jerusalem, and called on Netanyahu to open the temple mount to visitors.
We will remind, in the morning of 14 July, three terrorists who came to the temple mount opened fire on law enforcement officers, then tried to hide in one of the mosques.
The Israeli security forces during the pursuit, eliminated the attackers. They had discovered two home-made pistol-machine gun «Carl Gustav» and another gun.
After the attack, the Temple mount is completely closed for carrying out quickly-investigative actions.
On Saturday evening the office of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement on that, decided to resume the visits of pilgrims and tourists to the temple mount.
According to published information, the decision was taken by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after a telephone consultation with the representatives of power structures.
