Saudi Arabia’s king Salman bin Abdul-Aziz announced the deprivation of his nephew Muhammad bin Nayef title crown Prince of the Kingdom, passing the title to his son Mohammad bin Salman.
There was also made several other appointments, including the replacement of the Deputy Minister of internal Affairs and ambassadors in the UK and Germany.
Prince Muhammad Ibn Nayef is the Minister of internal Affairs and the Chairman of the military-political Council of the Kingdom. Responsible for the fight against terrorism and for the policies of the Kingdom on the situation in Syria.
Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Minister of defense, Chairman of the Royal court and head of the national Council for Economics and development. Initiated economic Vision 2030 and to reduce the dependence of Saudi Arabia on oil and the development of local industry, led the operation «Storm determination» against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
