Philippine police have identified the man who staged an attack on a hotel-casino Resort World in Manila, which killed 36 people. The attackers were Filipino Hessle Javier Carlos, a former frequenter of casinos, which because of huge debts has been banned from playing in the country.
We will remind, on June 1 armed man in black, whose face was hidden by a mask, opened fire on the second floor of the hotel where the casino is located. One of the visitors of the casino said that an unidentified man splashed out on a gambling table a flammable liquid and set on fire. In the room the fire started, which led to a large number of victims. The assailant also died in the fire, turned to the gasoline-soaked blanket.
Terrorist organization «Islamic state» has claimed responsibility for the attack, but police in the Philippines said that this version is questionable.
