Israeli forces arrested 12 activists of the far left movements who participated in the riots in Hebron on 20 February.
About 150 people took part in demonstrations on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack in the Cave of the Patriarchs committed by Baruch Goldstein. They demanded to open the Shuhada street, closed in 2010.
The demonstrators began to throw stones at Israeli soldiers. The military was used in response funds to disperse demonstrations and dispersed the rioters by arresting the 12 most active of them.
Palestinian sources say several people were injured after inhaling tear gas, and one required hospitalization.
